Connection always starts with you first

In order to connect to others, whether that be a lover, your partner or friends and family, connection to yourself comes first
Do you take time each day to listen to YOU?
Are you aware of your thoughts?
Do you acknowledge them? Even the ones that feel uncomfortable
If we don't take the time to listen to ourselves, then we are not able to really get to know who we truly are
What are we really thinking and are we meet ourselves and what we desire across all aspects of our lives?
Here are a few ways you can deepen the connection to yourself today
✨ Take time each day to just be with yourself and your thoughts - start with 5 minutes and just sit down and listen and acknowledge all that you are - as the thoughts come in, acknowledge and let them pass and eventually your mind will rest and you can enjoy some silence and time just to be at one with yourself
✨ Journal each day - I would recommend spending some time each morning and acknowledge how you are feeling - it may be as simple as I am tired and then set intentions for your day - how do you want to be today?
✨ Take a mindful shower instead of rushing, take the time to connect to your body - how is it feeling? are you achy? how does it feel to wash your body? What does the shower gel smell of? Connect to yourself, your body and how it REALLY feels
